ICTS Basic Skills Diagnostic Practice Test

A computer-administered practice test program for the ICTS Basic Skills test is available for download.

If you do not wish to or are not able to download this program, a printable version of the practice test is also available.

The Basic Skills Diagnostic Practice Test is an interactive computer program that contains a full-length practice test form for the Basic Skills test, including questions for all three subareas of the test(Reading Comprehension, Language Arts, and Mathematics). The program also includes a tutorial providing instructions on how to use and navigate through the practice test, scoring of and correct answer explanations for the multiple-choice questions, a constructed-response writing assignment, and sample responses to the practice test writing assignment.

The practice test is password-protected to allow for multi-user capabilities (i.e., subsequent users may access and utilize the program without affecting practice test work in progress for another individual).

This is a stand-alone Java™ program (1.67 MB) that must be downloaded to the computer on which it will be used. The practice test may be taken by more than one person on the same computer without downloading additional copies of the software.
